We asked for your feedback – and now the changes are confirmed

Between March and May 2025, we asked for your views on proposed changes to the scope of practice. These changes relate to how we recognise graduates with new qualifications that the Medical Radiation Technologists Board has approved. You can read more about that here.

What’s happening now

Thank you to everyone who took part and shared their views. Most of the feedback supported the proposed changes, and we used your input to update the scope of practice. As a result, the Board has decided to go ahead with the changes. You can read a summary of the feedback in the consultation outcome below.
