We’re in the process of moving to our new practitioner system, which goes live on Wednesday 11 June. Until then your online profile will be temporarily unavailable. If you have any queries about what’s happening, please refer to the announcement page here.

Working overseas

If you’re registered with the Te Poari Ringa Hangarau Iraruke | The Medical Radiation Technologists Board (the Board) and plan to leave New Zealand to practice overseas, you must notify the Board and confirm your overseas contact details.

If you gain employment in medical imaging or radiation therapy overseas you may be required to provide your employer/registration body with a letter of good standing which confirms your registration status in New Zealand. You can apply and pay for a Letter of Good Standing through your online portal. You must pay the required fee as part of the online application form.

For information on our prescribed fees view Fees payable to Te Poari Ringa Hangarau Iraruke / New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board from 12 February 2024, under Resources on this website.
