Our Vision & Mission

 The Medical Radiation Technologists Board is responsible to the Minister of Health for administration of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (the Act) in respect of the profession of medical radiation technology.

The Board fulfils its responsibility to the Minister of Health by demonstrating leadership to ensure the profession of medical radiation technology protects the health and safety of the public.  This is acheived by the Board setting policies to enable the implementation of the Act and so mitigate risk to the Board, the profession and the public within a social, ethcial, and financially viable framework.
