Frequently asked questions by Australian registered medical radiation technologists applying for registration under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (TTMR) Act 1997:

  
 

Q. Can I pay the registration fee in a currency other than the NZ$?
A. No. Payment must be in NZ dollars.

  
Q. Can I pay my registration fee by Credit Card?

A. Yes, we accept payment by Visa and MasterCard credit cards only.

Q. My employer will pay my registration fee, but wants an invoice from the Board, will the Board issue an invoice?

A. No, we do not issue invoices for registration fees, but a receipt will be issued.
  
Q. I want to claim the registration fee back from my employer, will I receive a receipt from the Board for my application fee payment?

A. Yes, the Board will issue a receipt with the letter notifying you that your application for registration has been accepted under the TTMR legislation.
  
Q. Can I practise once I have submitted my TTMR application to the Board?

A. If all the documentation is in order and your application has been accepted, you are deemed to be registered under s24 of the TTMR Act and can practise immediately, pending registration by the Board. The Board has one month to make a decision about your application for registration. (See web site of GP Print for the TTMR Act.)
